マルコス・フェルナンデス/Marcos Fernandes (snare)
横浜で生まれたマルコス・フェルナンデスは、カリフォルニアで30年以上、パフォーマー、プロデューサー、キュレイターとして過ごしました。米国、カナダ、メキシコ、香港、日本の各地で、ソロのインプロバイザー、フォノグラファーとして公演し、またパーカッショニスト、サウンドアーティストとしてさまざまなアンサンブル、ダンサー、ビジュアルアーティスト達と共演してきました。フェルナンデスの作品はAccretions、Bake/Staalplaat、Circumvention、Pax、Pfmentum、Phonography.org、Public Eyesore、Solitary B他から50点以上発表されています。

A native of Yokohama, Japan, Marcos Fernandes spent over three decades in California as performer, producer and curator. He has performed in the US, Canada, Mexico, Portugal, Hong Kong and Japan as a solo improviser, singer songwriter, phonographer and as percussionist/sound artist with various ensembles, dancers, poets and visual artists. Fernandes’ work can be heard on over 50 recordings on Accretions, Bake/Staalplaat, Circumvention, Cobra Discos, Disk Union, Enban, Less Than TV, Pax, Public Eyesore, Titicacaman and others. His current projects include The Wild Machinations, Blue, Ocean & The Clubfish and Tokyo Phonographers Union.
Fernandes has performed and/or recorded with Bill Horist, Carl Stone, George Lewis, Gianni Gebbia, Haco, Hans Fjellestad, K.K.Null, Kazuhisa Uchihashi, Kio Griffith, Lê Quan Ninh, Lisle Ellis, Mike Keneally, Miya Masaoka, Seiichi Yamamoto, Tetuzi Akiyama, Thomas Dimuzio, Yuji Katsui, Yuki Saga, Yuko Hirai, Yumiko Tanaka as well as with The Argonauts, Kokusai Obake Rengo, Misawa Hiroki & Okabayashi Rockn’roll Center, Niwa Jiro & Mother Complex, Marcelo Radulovich, Donkey, Lower Left Performance Collective, Nortec Collective, Seattle Phonographers Union and Skeleton Key Orchestra.

アンドレアス・ギュンター/Andreas Gunther (sax)
ハンブルク出身で現在ベルリンを拠点に活動するドイツ人ピアニスト／サックス奏者、アンドレアス・ギュンターは、国際的に活躍するジャズミュージシャンであり作曲家です。2002年から2006年までブレーメン芸術音楽大学でピアノとサックスを専攻し、音楽教育のディプロマを取得しました。
ライブミュージシャンとしての活動に加え、作曲家・楽器講師としても活躍しています。

これまでに出演した主な会場・フェスティバル：
ロンドンのロニー・スコッツ・ジャズクラブ、ベルリンのB-Flatジャズクラブ、ベルファストのスコッツ・ジャズクラブ、アムステルダムのパラディソ、マケドニア・スコピエ・ジャズフェスティバル、中国・上海JZフェスティバル、ハンブルクFeel.Jazzフェスティバル2024、オランダ・フローニンゲンESNSユーロソニックフェスティバル2024、そしてアメリカのシンガー、ケンドラ・モリスとのヨーロッパツアーなどがあります。

これまで公演およびレコーディングで共演したアーティスト:アレクサンダー・ギブソン、セバスチャン・ナーゲル、ヨルダン・コストフ、レオナルド・スジ、フレッド・グレネード、アレック・ハービック、ケンドラ・モリス、トビー・マック、ジャリル・アクバルリ、チャールズ・フォルデシュ、神田綾子、福島久雄など。

The German pianist and saxophonist, originally from Hamburg and currently based in Berlin, is an internationally active jazz musician and composer. Andreas studied piano and saxophone at the University of the Arts in Bremen between 2002 and 2006, earning his degree as a certified instrumental pedagogue.

He has performed at renowned venues and festivals including Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in London, B-Flat Jazz Club in Berlin, Scott’s Jazz Club in Belfast, Paradiso in Amsterdam, Skopje Jazz Festival (Macedonia), JZ Festival (Shanghai, China), Feel.Jazz Festival (Hamburg, 2024), ESNS-Eurosonic Festival (Groningen, Netherlands, 2024), and has toured Europe with the American singer Kendra Morris.

He has collaborated with numerous German and international artists, including Alexander Gibson, Sebastian Nagel, Yordan Kostov, Leonardo Susi, Fred Grenade, Alec Haavik, Kendra Morris, Toby Mak, Jalill Aukbaroullee, Charles Foldesh, Ayako Kanda, Hisao Fukushima, and many others.

神田綾子/Ayako Kanda (voice)
美大在学中より絵画制作の傍らジャズスタンダードの演奏を始める。
幼少期はピアノやソルフェージュを音大を志望するジュニアクラスで学び、合唱団、ブラスバンドにも所属、音楽漬けの幼少時代を過ごす。10代前半から演劇の活動を始め、エチュード(即興芝居)で構成される舞台での演技を強化、高校時代には大学生に混じり一般向けの劇団に参加する。また、絵画制作でも個展、グループ展を国内海外各地で開催。2000年初頭から絵画表現が半具象から完全抽象作品へと変わってゆくのに伴ってか、音楽活動でも完全に即興による演奏を始める。

現在は即興演奏およびジャズスタンダードのライブを東京近郊で定期的に行う他、米国、主にNYでも演奏活動を行う。2016年、現地のミュージシャンと共に結成した自身の即興ユニットで録音、アルバム”Antigravity vacation”を米国でリリース。

Ayako Kanda is an improvising performer whose medium is her voice. Low as an echo in a tunnel, then light as a child’s conversation; chasing the band one moment, and ringing out wild and alone the next: Ayako’s vocal performances encompass a kaleidoscopic range of expression.

She made her debut as a performer during her time at art school, where she also began painting. Today she performs improvised live sets around Tokyo and worldwide. In 2016, she formed a band of local musicians in New York City to record her first album, “Antigravity Vacation.”
